A cycle path leading into Elvaston Castle, very pleasant and accessible without auto traffic - in addition the local horse riding club can keep their horses in the adjacent field knowing they won't be disturbed by cars.
A great cycling-permitted park - Elvaston Castle. Various paths and trails exist throughout, and it connects to the Derby cycle network, making it possible for families to visit on bikes without mixing with traffic.
