The link from Egginton Road to the Great Northern Greenway is very narrow. When the nettles and brambles are growing it can be very uncomfortable for cyclists and walkers to negotiate. Widening or more frequent maintenance required.

There is no way to cross the A38. A cycle bridge / tunnel linking Findern Ln with Doles Lane would open commuter routes between Etwall / Hilton and south side of Derby (eg Rolls-Royce)
